Shear Art Hair Studio opened its doors on December 1, 2009 in the charming Corcoran neighborhood. The owner Tammy Angrimson was looking for a studio space where she could be creative, provide education and mentorship to her team. She wanted to create a unique space for her Team to practice their craft of hair, skin, and nails.

Tammy has 20+ years of experience in the hair industry. As a Premiere National Color Educator with John Paul Mitchell Systems, she has the pleasure of educating salon owners and stylists throughout the Midwest on how to make their business stronger through technical education and business development. “The more I teach, the more I learn, and Shear Art is the product of my education.” Tammy’s specialties are color, color placement, foils, perms, razor cuts.
